As you are probably aware, in December 2009, the Board of the North Sydney ANZAC Memorial Club Limited (
North Sydney ANZAC) called for Expressions of Interest from other registered Clubs interested in an amalgamation.
The Board of Kirribilli Ex-Services Club Limited (
Kirribilli) considered North Sydney ANZAC’s position and agreed that it was in a position to assist North Sydney ANZAC.
On 28th May 2010, North Sydney ANZAC and Kirribilli entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in relation to the proposed amalgamation.
In accordance with the requirements of the
Registered Clubs Regulation 1966 a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding will be available for inspection at North Sydney ANZAC’s reception and on the North Sydney ANZAC website (
www.anzacclub.com.au) from 1st June 2010.
A General Meeting of North Sydney ANZAC, at which a resolution will be put to approve the proposed amalgamation, will be called in due course.
